LITTLE FARMERS AT WORK!

Our 1st grade students at Muğla Technology College got their hands dirty, planted winter seeds, and transplanted seedlings… Now it’s time to observe the cycle of nature together…

We planted winter vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, leeks, beets, lettuce, watercress, arugula, radishes, parsley, dill, and onions, some from seeds and some from seedlings.

In this process, our students not only planted vegetables; they also began to learn about the differences between winter and summer vegetables, their growing times, the importance of irrigation and soil, and the connection they have with nature through experience.

Together with our students, who carefully planted the vegetables they witnessed being sown, we will continue to explore the soil, make observations, and experience the excitement of production throughout the academic year.
