MUĞLA'DA EKOLOJİK GERONTOLOJİ VE YAŞLANMA ETKİNLİĞİ DÜZENLENDİ

The Menteşe Municipality, in collaboration with the National Social and Applied Gerontology Association, the EGET Foundation, and the Hasbahçe Foundation, organized an "Ecological Gerontology and Aging" event in Muğla. Held at the Türkan Saylan Congress Center, the event addressed the rapidly aging population of Muğla and the preservation of its quality of life.

Experts evaluated aging from biological, social, psychological, and environmental perspectives, seeking answers to the question, "How can we age better, how can we live together better?" The event included discussions, workshops, movement and dance activities, and information sessions on dementia, healthy eating, and the rights of the elderly.

The program concluded with a planting activity carried out jointly by children and participants. The importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration for age-friendly cities was emphasized at the event.
