The EGET Foundation (Education Recycling Foundation), established in Muğla in 2015, celebrated its 10th anniversary with a ceremony held at the Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The foundation has attracted attention with its scholarship support to 245 university students, ecological farming projects, internationally award-winning olive oil production, and social entrepreneurship activities.

Scholarships and ecology-focused projects for students

Prioritizing education since its inception, the foundation evaluates scholarship applications completely transparently and digitally thanks to its self-developed BUSED (Scholarship Selection and Evaluation System). This allows it to reach more young people and contribute to equal opportunities in education.

One of the foundation's most important investments is its ecological farming work, which includes lavender production, olive cultivation, and nature-friendly farming methods. The annual Lavender Harvest Festival brings thousands of people together with nature, contributing to regional tourism.

Internationally Award-Winning Olive Oil

The EGET Foundation achieved international success by winning a gold medal at a competition held in London in 2025 with its olive oil. The foundation's olive oil and natural cosmetic products, produced with a "from nature to table" philosophy, are attracting worldwide attention.

EU-Supported Projects

The foundation, which also stands out with its ecological education programs for children and awareness campaigns such as "A Handful of Soil, A World of Hope," was among the three institutions representing Turkey in the field of environmental education through the EU-supported HEEFTA Project.

The EGET Foundation is also preparing to launch a hotel series of personal care products under the Efilyun brand, developed through its economic enterprise. Expanding into the tourism sector with lemongrass-based products, the foundation plans to allocate the proceeds to a scholarship fund.

"Our Goal is to Provide Scholarships to More Students"

EGET Foundation Board Chairman Özlem Uzman, in her speech at the ceremony, said, "Every initiative is planned to provide scholarships to more students. We will continue to be a source of hope for young people and a breath of fresh air for nature."
