EGET RAN FOR YOUTH EDUCATION SUPPORT AND NATURE: CHAMPIONSHIP OF KINDNESS FOR MUĞLA

EGET, participating in the "Running for Good" event organized by Adım Adım Association, collected donations for its student scholarship program. At the event held in Eskişehir, EGET achieved great success by becoming the NGO that collected the most donations and also producing the top three runners who collected the most donations. Thus, Muğla once again came to the forefront with acts of kindness.

Hope for Low-Income Students

EGET, which provides scholarship support to prevent low-income students from dropping out of education, aims to increase the amount and number of scholarships in all its activities. In this context, a NGO from Muğla participated in this event for the first time in Eskişehir.

Adım Adım Association is implementing fundraising events, which are widely practiced worldwide, in Turkey as well. One of these, the "Running for Good" event, involves volunteer participants running in the name of the NGOs they support to raise donations. The event aims to raise awareness, promote charitable movements, and contribute to NGOs.

EGET's Great Success in the 10-Kilometer Race

The 10 km race organized by Adım Adım Association in Eskişehir on August 3, 2025, and supported by Eti Lifalif, was a colorful event. Numerous NGOs participated with their volunteers to raise donations.

On behalf of EGET, volunteers Anıl Sevim, Bekir Gümüşdal, Gökhan Gündoğan, Orkan Selçuk, and Weilin Huang; and EGET members Özlem Uzman, Naki Bulut, and Evrim Çağlayan took part in the race. Naki Bulut was by far the person who raised the most donations among all participants. He was followed by Özlem Uzman and Evrim Çağlayan. Thus, all three top places belonged to EGET runners.

“Donations from Good People Will Give Hope to Young People”

EGET Board Chair Özlem Uzman made the following statements regarding the organization:

“We would like to thank our donors very much. Donations from good people will give hope to young people. We may not know many of you, but we sincerely felt your support at every step. It is a great joy to know that we did not take any step alone on this path we embarked on to give hope to young people and to breathe life into nature. This year, for the first time, EGET Foundation participated in Adım Adım’s Running for Good organization. With every step I took on the running course, I felt the joy of people’s support. We would like to thank all EGET members and supporters, and our volunteers who contributed to us.”
